Picton

First stop on the South Island - a sweet little motel in the town of Picton - reserved online once we boarded the ferry. We really liked it! A little playground on the waterfront just across the street. But we arrived late and left early. Wish we could have spent more time, but now on a mission to find a place to live quickly, before the start of school for the kids.....

And on the way out of town, as we begin the windy beautiful drive to Nelson, we encountered this small tucked away cove: Bythells Bay!
