New Year's Eve, Santa Fe
22 degrees Fahrenheit (-5.5 degrees Celsius!). We put on all our layers and ventured out to join the festivities in the Santa Fe plaza. Piñon bonfires, live band, food trucks selling hot chocolate and cookies....

Monte Sol
Snow!!!! Climbing Monte Sol, the hill behind St John's College, David's Alma Mater. Piñon trees. Juniper trees. Foothills of the Sangre de Cristo mountains. Jimez mountains out to the west. Santa Fe in the valley below. Cactus in snow!!
