Ranchos de Taos Church (or the San Francisco de Asís Mission Church)



Arriving in Taos, the first thing we see is this church. Famous because of Georgia O’Keeffe’s 1929 painting.

But it turns out that lots of people have painted this church! Including the artist who built and owned the Taos airbnb we are staying in now – Charles Reynolds. His version of the Ranchos de Taos church:
